Are you positive, upbeat and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service? Celebration Festivals is currently looking for a seasonal part-time Ticket Seller. The Ticket Seller position is responsible for selling admission tickets while providing a high level of customer service in a friendly and professional manner to all guests for the duration of Winter Fest from December 20th - January 6th. Thursday, Dec 20th, Opening Night: 4pm – 10pm

Friday, Dec 21st: 2pm – 11pm

Saturday, Dec 22nd: 12pm – 11pm

Sunday, Dec 23rd: 12pm – 10pm

Monday, Dec 24th, Christmas Eve: 11am – 6pm

Tuesday, Dec 25th, Christmas Day: 11am – 10pm

Wednesday, Dec 26th: 2pm – 10pm

Thursday, Dec 27th: 2pm – 10pm

Friday, Dec 28th: 2pm – 11pm

Saturday, Dec 29th: 12pm – 11pm

Sunday, Dec 30th: 12pm – 10pm

Monday, Dec. 31st, New Years Eve: 12pm – 1am

Tuesday, Jan 1st, New Years Day: 2pm – 10pm

Wednesday, Jan 2nd: 2pm – 10pm

Thursday, Jan 3rd: 2pm – 10pm

Friday, Jan 4th: 2pm – 11pm

Saturday, Jan 5th: 12pm – 11pm

Sunday, Jan 6th: 12pm – 10pm


Key responsibilities of Ticket Seller include:

- Greeting guests in a warm and friendly manner, acknowledging them upon arrival

- Effectively communicating information regarding ticket prices, carnival rides, cabana rentals, etc.

- Maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, safety, and overall appearance of his/her assigned area

- Collecting payment and providing change in a timely, accurate and courteous manner

- Balancing end-of-day paperwork, including cash and credit cards, accurately

- Answering questions about Winter Fest and assisting guests with questions, directions, etc.

- Interacting with other employees in a friendly and professional manner

- Listening, responding to, and resolving guest inquiries, complaints and compliments in a friendly and professional manner

- Maintaining a level of patience with guests (complaints, lost items, general directions)

- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of Winter Fest regarding promotional days and show times.

Requirements

- One year of customer service experience, preferred past cash handling experience

- Excellent communication skills; the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive speaking voice

- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

- Basic computer skills

- Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy

- Must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money

- Previous ticket system experience a plus!

- Must have the ability to work extended/irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays (Please see link for all dates and times: https://winterfestoc.com/schedule/)

- Must be able to work majority of dates and arrive on time.

- Celebration Festivals will conduct a background check as part of the selection process
